How To Survive a Zombie Attack

In the tv show The Walking Dead, Rick Grimes is a Sherriff that gets shot in the line of duty. He falls into a coma and wakes up to a zombie apocalypse. Zombies infected with a virus that makes them dead inside, but physically able to move around with the urge, want and desire to attack and infect anyone who is living are all around.

There’s nowhere to turn. It seems like all is lost. The only ones to turn to are other living humans with the same desire to live and fight back against the zombies. What do, how do prepare, how do survive in this world?

I think the Christian life is a lot like living in a zombie apocalypse. The culture we live in is spiritually dead inside yearning, wanting and desiring to find something to make them alive. Because of Christ we are spiritually alive and fighting against a culture that seems to attack us at all times. What do we do, how do we prepare, how do we fight back when the war seems to hard?

Join us as we talk about How To Survive a Zombie Attack. We’re going to talk about how to survive in this environment of sin in our world and prepare and discuss how we as the church carry the cure for the spiritual death in our culture through our Lord Jesus Christ. See you on Sunday.

All you need to apply for a scholarship is to fill out the permission slip WITH YOUR PARENTS EMAIL ADDRESS and give it to Deanna by Wednesday, January 25.
Your parents will get an email from Hume with instruction to apply for the scholarship.

Deadline to sign up for camp is Wednesday, February 1.
